Maine Fall Wedding
This past October we were fortunate enough to work with a Maine Destination Bride who selected the Inn on Peaks Island to get married.
Jelena and Pete made two trips to Maine and then the rest of details to us to plan a wedding weekend for family and friends to come and celebrate the love they shared for each other.
I remember when talking to Jelena about the decor she said I could anything for colors and flowers except pink! We selected a great color palette of Marsala, Merlot, creams, accent of peach and soft greens. I think this first image you see will explain how much she loved our interpretation of a New England Fall Wedding in Tent.
We used cross back chairs to keep the rich fall tones going thru out the event.
The linen was a heavy Yuma fabric in scarlet and we used reclaimed wood boxes & gold mercury glass. For the flowers I used orange amaryllis, Burgundy orchids, peach David Austin Roses and hanging amaranthus.
Over the head table we hung fresh flowers and foliage as well as candles. To make sure all the sparkle from the candles danced around the room, I made mirror panels to cover the poles and reflect the details of the table.
The name tags was a fun project that we did by cutting out two leaf shapes and putting them together.
We added a lounge in the patio area to help create an extended space of the dance area. It was the most used area other then the dance floor!
